Abstract
Within the GGI workshop "New Perspectives in String Theory", this
two-week school aims to provide an updated introduction to modern trends
in String Theory and to offer highly qualified students the tools to
tackle interesting emerging problems in such a competitive field. Each
lecturers will give a mini-course of two lectures of two hours each.
